Team, The (TV Series) (2015): How many disc in the serie?
Insomnia (2002): 3/5 – Fair remake of the Scandinavian Insomnia (1997) for American spectators. Pacino and Swank excellent as usual.
Nobody (2021): 3/5
Imitation Game, The (2014): 2/5 – Watchable with a beer. Not serious enough to learn history.
Gasland (2010): 3.5/5 – Moving and revolting at the same time. Good Doco.
Non-Stop (2014): 2/5 – One more of the kind where Liam Neeson never stops running & shooting to keep you entertained.
Greta (2018): 3/5 – Good suspense.

Dry, The (2020): 3/5 – With Australian accent but with English subtitles :) – Murder mystery entertaining to watch. Nice aussie outback atmosphere and good acting.
Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011): 4/5 – Not to learn so much about sushi making but more about the Jiro man . He may not have been easy to work with (under!) but his perfectionism, passion and "kaizen" is fascinating.
El Bulli - Cooking in Progress (2011)
Victoria (2015): 2/5 – a bit challenging to understand where it will eventually go. I liked the spontaneity of the actors which is a breath of fresh air compared to the Hollywood productions.

Ikiru (1952): 4/5. Excellent. – Superb B&W photography, night portraits, framing, The initial part describing life in a Nippon office in the early 50's is unexpectedly cynical. Although the topic, living a terminal illness, makes it a slow movie, it's quite enjoyable
Nobody Knows (Dare mo shiranai) (2004)
Like Father, Like Son (2013): 4/5 – Original title: "Soshite chichi ni naru" meaning "And then he became a father", which refers much better to the journey of the father rather than the genetic heritage story.
Point Blank (1967): 1/5 – Tipical 60's story telling, Sorry Lee, nice try, but not your best one.
Living (2022): 1/5. Disappointing remake of Ikuru. The copy paste of the 1953 Nippon office in London is a poor joke. Bill Nighy could not save the sauce.
C.B. Strike: Lethal White (TV Miniseries) (CB Strike (Season 2)) (2020): 3/5. My favorite so far v.s. Season1. Improved acting, denser story.
Cargo (2009): 2/5. Well polished (Swiss quality!). The story is developing on several level and what started as a kind of simple thriller evolved in a more complex story which kept me entertained til the end.
Anatomie (2000): 2/5. Interesting ideas.

Nothing But The Truth (2008): 4/5 – Brilliant subject, even if given a bit simplistic treatment. Good reminder at a time when investigative journalism is under fire.
No Country for Old Men (2007): 5/5 – Superb film, excellent actors with Javier Bardem above the lot. To put in your emergency bag (before next tsunami, tornado, fire, earthquake, etc....)
