Our Man in Havana
Aroview: Witty, forgotten spy satire from dir. Reed (THE THIRD MAN) has Alex Guinness run riot as an undercover vacuum cleaner salesman spooking for the British in steamy Havana. A globe-trotting cast, real locations in Cuba, and lush black and white cinematography make this well worth remembering. From a script by Graham Greene.

4 stars (Very Good) Gives the spy people a well-deserved poke in the eye with Alec Guinness carrying the sharp stick. There is a terrific cast to abet him and the location shooting is impressive. ~Tubbs
