Aroview: A brooding masterpiece from dir. Mann (HEAT), who finally wrestles down a topic of sufficient weight to justify the peerless brilliance of his images.
Based on the real-life expose of the US tobacco companies that led to their multi-billion dollar payouts, Russell Crowe smoulders as the whistle-blower who runs the gauntlet of public opinion and the media-machine, while Al Pacino sinks his teeth into another incendiary loudmouth role.

2 stars (Good Try) Crowe is good in this one and Pacino for the most part is restrained which helps. It is a good story but it is a pity about the length. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) 4/5 - Very good script and dialogs. Both Pacino and Crowe are giving a superb performance. Riveting look at the media and corporate inner plays. ~Anonz
