Eight Legged Freaks (2002): Great creatures battle expendable humans.
Ironclad (2011): The costumes are good, Brian Cox is always in this kind of film but heaven\'s knows why the acting talents of Derek Jacobi are required for this.
Hills Have Eyes, The (1977): Classy in a grainy kind of way. The baddies steal the show – Egghead, Broccolihead and Sausage Nose.
Friday the 13th [Franchise] (1980-1989): Part 1 – atmospheric. Good use of musical effect.
Battle: Los Angeles (2011): No originality but plenty of noise and dramatic acting.
Appaloosa (2008): Hard to understand why it doesn\'t have any life with the casting – film maker seems to have gone out of his way to achieve realism above entertainment but the characters are boring. Full marks though for set design and props
Pink Floyd - The Story of Wish You Were Here (2012): Concentrates on Syd Barrett.
Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964): Genuine sci–fi – don\'t believe it to be a clone. The art work and set design are impressive.
Sphere (1998): Best thing is the story but its not helped by a lot of yelling and screaming in confined places.
Five Easy Pieces (1970): Nicholson hasn\'t quite reached his I\'m bigger than the industry stage but he\'s still annoying at times. Great support performances make it worthwhile.
