Quo Vadis? (1951): Too much sermonizing makes it too long but the costumes for a cast of thousands and the set designs are worth a tick. Leo Genn does well as the chief sycophant and Patricia Laffan is great as Mrs. Nero but the film belongs to Ustinov.
Enough Said (2013): Its a pretty useful array of female actors but their characters spend all and every day talking drivel. I guess that's okay because nothing happens anyway.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013): The film lacked any obvious purpose – its brand of comedy has been overused and becomes boring quickly.
50 First Dates (2004): Pleasant enough mainly due to Drew's performance.
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (Harold and Kumar get the Munchies) (2004): Juvenile script but it might please 10 year olds.
Signs (2002): To its credit it has at least more Sci fi than action sequences although the water solution is a bit weak. The suspense around the invaders is well handled. Mel struggles with the acting bit of his performance but the kids see him through.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013): Its better watched as a put down rather than as a comedy.
Blood Into Wine (2010): Couldn't really see the point of this documentary – don't know what it was trying to achieve – couple of old photos were okay.
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra 2011 Season, The (2011): I wish the film makers would edit out the prolonged and unnecessary audience applause after the completion of each work.
Royal Wedding (1951): So so musical but hard to ignore the dancing.
