Beyond the Mat (1999)
the best wrestling documentary available. A good insight into the lives of 3 'names' in pro wrestling, and into the world of those who beg for crumbs from the top table.
Hitman Hart - Wrestling with Shadows (1999)
Very good, dramatically told story. Have watched this more than once. Still not convinced that it's legit but either way it tells a good story and gives a solid insight into life at the top of pro wrestling.
Lemmy (2010)
While all good and entertaining enough as a doco it could've done with some dramatic pacing.
Anvil: The Story of Anvil (2008)
Such heart. This is the best doco I've seen in a long time
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010)
This was a real nice twist on the hillbilly genre, fun for a nights viewing.
Pink Flamingos (1971)
While I loved the spirit of this, maybe i'm too desensitised to take in the shock–value...it was more 'oh this is the part i'm meant to be shocked at'. In the context of it's time though, it's a groundbreaking piece of work.
Grey Gardens (1976)
felt like 2 old aunties had come to visit and wouldn't shut up and wouldn't leave. Glad i've seen it to see what all the fuss is about though.
Senna (2010)
Tralfamadorian and really engaging. I'm not into motor racing at all but really enjoyed this...Just a tad long I thought.
