Kombi Nation (2000): I reckon one of the greatest NZ films. Appreciation increased by the making of, seeing how audaciously it was filmed. There was some issue(s) around if it'd ever be released, and PJ & the Film Comm having some sort of tussle? Thankfully it happened!
Perfect Creature (2006): Unfairly maligned. I liked it a lot when it came out, and viewing again after 20 years I still like it a lot. Some of the acting is the weakest point I admit, but overall it's good dammit!; DVD ~~$14.95~~ $11.20
Duran Duran: Unstaged (2014): As a Duran Duran fan, and fan of the new album at that time, it's worth watching. Lynch's graphical overlays don't add much of interest. The BBQ and Barbie–esque dolls (not both in the same song) were my favourite.
Shaker Run (1985): Bit better than you might be led to believe if you're up for a bit of fun, though certainly not top of the line. Ian Mune with an American Accent. Shona Laing with a song called America. Lots of NZ scenery in mostly familiar places.
