Brighton Rock (2010): Although the screenplay gradually falls away there is some fine location shooting and splendid performances from Andrea Riseborough with great support from veterans Helen Mirren, John Hurt, and Phil Davis.; DVD $19.95, $34.95 | Blu-Ray $19.95
A Thousand Times Goodnight (2013): The quality of Juliette makes it watchable.
Collaborator (2011): The two male leads were fine but Olivia was wasted. The screenplay played like a play and as a film needed patience.
Noble House (Mini-Series) (1988): It takes a while to tell the story. The best segments involve John Rhys–Davies, with Dudley Sutton also livening things up. The supporting cast, with the likes of the dependable Gordon Jackson, is overall pretty good.
US vs. John Lennon, The (2006): He was a threat.
A-Team, The (TV Series) (1982): Series 1: There are hints of humour but it is more a curiosity piece 40 years on.
Mistress of Spices (2005): Not an enticing screenplay but there is a good score to listen to.
Squaring the Circle: The Story of Hipgnosis (2023): Po Powell is an excellent frontman and is the mainstay of the interviews. An excellently produced documentary.; DVD $29.95
Barbie (2023): If for nothing else it should be remembered for its artwork and set designs.
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994): Nearly as good as the better of the Elm Street episodes.
