Kagemusha (1980): Although the screenplay is a tad overlong the basic plot is an interesting one and the stunning visuals will maintain interest.
Lover, The (1992): The films location shooting is 5 star. The indoor screenplay is pretty ordinary however, and it is a pity that everything wasn't shot outdoors, even if this meant launching a mattress on the Mekong.
Three Amigos (1986): A little uneven but it has some worthwhile comedy segments.
Late August, Early September (Fin août, début septembre) (1998): Characters wasting their lives and wasting your time.
Leftovers, The (TV Series) (2014): Season 1: The basic premise has intelligence and the screenplay doesn't dip to any noticeable extent. There is nothing wrong with the casting.
Long Goodbye, The (1973): Gould (the one with the permanent cigarette) is well cast in this at times untidy screenplay. Not great but it is probably a film you could see more than once without being bored.
Matrix Revolutions (2003): The interest level was raised when Hugo was on screen.
Watership Down (1978): Pretty basic but the story is related satisfactorily.
Murder In Coweta County (1983): The screenplay doesn't get sidetracked nor does it skirt around the issue of racism and the characters are very believable.
Misbehaviour (2020): Well produced and entertaining but not at the expense of getting its message through.
