Sleeping Beauty (1987): Whilst the story is timeless, and always has some interest, this is a modest production.
Odd Man Out (1947): Well written with believable characters which is thanks in no small way to the casting. The street scenes were memorable wet and dry.
Confessions of an American Girl (American Girl) (2002): The slightly offbeat screenplay works most of the time and is helped by some pretty good casting choices.
Ghost (1990): A bit dated 30+ years on although some of Whoopi's scenes are not too bad.
Last House on the Left, The (1972): If the sales of chainsaws increased after the release of this film the authorities would have been worried.
Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane, The (1976): The screenplay might be a product of its time and may not be made 50 years on. It is worth a look because of young Jodie's performance. Young yes but already a veteran at such a young age.
Woman Next Door, The (1981): What there was of a screenplay provided little challenge to the talents of the two leads.
Lifeforce (1985): From the excellent pen of Colin Wilson. Railsback is not very good but there is some talent in the cast. Well worth a try.
Life Coach, The (Le Coach) (2009): The material is light and not particularly original but the leads are watchable.
Beaches (1988): A ball of noisy energy.
