Exorcism of Emily Rose, The (2005): Once you've seen one exorcist film they are all alike.However Laura Linney heads a fine cast.
Nights in Rodanthe (2008): One of the few romantic films that are not boring. The location helps.Richard Gere is playing a Richard Gere part but Diane Lane is excellent and makes the film for me.
Balto (1995): Balto – adequate animation. Balto 2:Takes advantage of the original. The animation is nothing special. Balto 3: Animation is a bit stronger.
Natural Selection (2011): There's a lot to like about Rachael Harris's performance but I couldn't care less about the plot.
Alatriste (2006): Excellent props and costumes etc.First two thirds impressive then it loses steam.Dreadful hollywood ending.
My Best Friend's Wedding (1997): Rupert Everett is too good for this lot – rest of the film is fluff.
Man of Steel (2013): The storm sequence was impressive.
Green Mile, The (1999): Excellent performance from Doug Hutchison and scene stealing from Harry Dean Stanton and Sam Rockwell.The film is patchy but there are some worthwhile moments among the melodrama.
Sweetest Thing, The (2002): You don't expect much from "Oh My God" comedies but the script in this one is purile.
Wasted on the Young (2010): Impressive.The bonus features gives a clue as to how well the cast and crew prepared and how well they got on with each other.
