Prisoners (2013): Far too long – if its not exactly boring its uninteresting.
Sunshine on Leith (2013): One good tuneful tune – Jane Horrocks and Peter Mullan always worth a watch.
Four Brothers (2005): John Singleton has done much better.
Silent Hill (2006): The make–up people do well with the creatures but the movie is far too long for what it has to offer.
Lockout (2012): There's really nothing to hold the attention for very long. Some hints at Sci fi but it is soon swamped by the violence.
Heart of the Dragon (Long de xin) (1985): Chan and Hung work well together.
Normal Heart, The (2014): Good cast,worthy subject – not an easy watch.
Vertigo (1958): Very slow. Stewart struggles and looks uncomfortable with the romantic scenes. Novac is a concrete post. Best parts are the beautiful location shots of San Francisco.Excellent bonus features.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991): Plenty of shooting (every body has a gun) even at robots that can't be killed but the action from director James special effects Cameron soon gets boring.
Waterboy, The (1999): Kathy Bates tries hard but even she can't save this one.
