Aroview: An instantly-spooky premise, based on a video game, guides this story of a mother (Rahda Mitchell) who foolishly drives to a ghoulish West Virginia 'burg trying to locate the territory featured in her daughter's recurring nightmares.

Written by Roger Avary (KILLING ZOE), this quickly devolves into shock-horror territory as Mitchell's daughter disappears and she becomes menaced by all manner of creatures popping out of the fog-enshrouded woodwork. It soon becomes apparent she is trapped in a creepy other-world. Struggling somewhat to find an effective rhythm, this international co-production is distinguished most by its outstandingly baroque visuals and gore concepts.
