47 Ronin (2013): Couldn't work out what Reeves was doing in this – they had a chance to kill him off after 20 minutes. Requisite amount of disregard of human life. Some gorgeous photography.
Something's Gotta Give (2003): Poor plot but Diane Keaton is great as usual – Frances McDormand is badly underused.
Escape Plan (2013): Only point of interest is whether a couple of creaky old action stars can make it to the end of the film.
Moo Man, The (2013): There is still a glimmer of hope for the planet.
Smashed (2012): Winstead and Paul work well together – short in length – makes its point and doesn't drag on.
Semi-Pro (2008): The comedy is not that funny but is watchable.
Smokin' Aces (2007): Could be seen as entertaining but the characters soon become tiresome. A pale imitation of whats been achieved by others.
Rumour Has It... (2005): Its interesting to see how the characters face up to the challenge of filling in their day. Shirley and Richard add a bit of quality to the proceedings.
Fargo - Season 1 (TV Series) (2014): Superb characters complemented by superb casting. Coen Brother fans will not be disappointed.
Patriot, The (2000): Stirring stuff – its a privilege to be allowed to see it.
