“A decent, colourful samurai spectacle with a classical look... and a story which stands up under multiple retellings.”~Empire
Aroview: A rogue big screen retelling of an ancient Japanese legend, about a band of samurai determined to avenge the death of their master.
Awkwardly directed in places, but also distinctly shot and imagined in other ways, this is a strange hybrid of eastern and western sensibilities with an added fantasy dimension in service of the 3D spectacle.

		- 2 stars (Good Try) Couldn't work out what Reeves was doing in this - they had a chance to kill him off after 20 minutes. Requisite amount of disregard of human life. Some gorgeous photography. ~Tubbs
