Boulevard (2014): Williams is good in this one and even though she is strolling through her part its always good to watch Kathy Baker. There is little that will be remembered from the film but at least its not too long.
54 (1998): Without trying Mike Myers stands out in this cast. An actor may have made something of Ryan Phillippe's character which is a part that is essential to the success of the film.
Death Rides A Horse (Da uomo a uomo) (1968): As usual Lee Van Cleef adds interest which helps a modest plot. The excellent music score is used sparingly but effectively.
Resident Evil - Apocalypse (2004): Plenty of noise and gunfire followed by plenty of noise and gunfire.
Parent Trap, The (1998): I'm not a fan of remakes but this one is worth it mainly because of a good script and the performance of Lindsay Lohan. It's actually too long but that's understandable because of the dual stories.Elaine Hendrix is the pick of the adults.
Alibi, The (Lies & Alibis) (2006): Coogan isn't good enough an actor to carry a film. The other problem here is the characters – not one of them is worthy of space on the planet – as a result I lost interest in the plot if there was one.
Red Sorghum (1988): Gong Li falling for a smelly meat head peasant with jug handles for ears didn't really gel.The scenes are episodic rather than flowing together but some, particularly in the early parts of the film, are beautifully photographed.
Santa Clause 2, The (2002): The plot is fine but the film works best when the reindeer is scene stealing.
ATM (2012): Does well with a small cast and simple scenario to fill in 90 mins. I've seen much worse.
Sound and the Fury, The (2014): The film made no impression except to encourage me to read the novel to find out what it was about.
