Aroview: Nicely-off kilter farce stars Steve Coogan as a 'reformed' con-artist running an 'alibi providing service' for adulterous spouses to help conduct their affairs with relative impunity.
Unfortunately one of his longtime clients accidently kills his lover and soon Coogan, along with a statuesque new assistant (Romijn-Stamos), is having to salt his fake paper-trail with all manner of red-herrings to put off the coppers, a boyfriend and bizarrely, a Mormon assassin. With a fabulous cast and Coogan's skill at dry humour helping keep all the quirky balls in the air, this succeeds as an old-fashioned caper comedy spiced with just the right amount of silly fun.

2 stars (Good Try) Coogan isn't good enough an actor to carry a film. The other problem here is the characters - not one of them is worthy of space on the planet - as a result I lost interest in the plot if there was one.~tubbs
