Child Of God (2013): There is some great photography, a wonderful soundtrack and a good lead performance but at the end of the day the screenplay doesn't hold the attention even with his odd choice of girlfriends.; DVD $24.95
Night of the Living Dead (1968): Its still watchable after 50 years which in itself is something to be proud of.
I Know You Know (2008)
Dying Breed (2008): As usual with these it starts of promisingly but then goes down a well beaten track which is some accomplishment in the wilderness.
Persepolis (2007): The use of animation greatly assists this story of growing up and living in Iran by sharpening its satirical edge. The story has two memorable characters in the revolutionary child and the ageless grandmother.
Zoom - Academy for Superheroes (2006): Uneven but there will be something in it for most people – super hero fans or Tim Allen fans or cutie little girl fans etc.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016): There are several war journalist movies now – Tina Fey makes this one watchable.
Where to Invade Next (2015): An entertaining foreign ramble by I believe a lower key than normal (older) Michael Moore. Its not hard hitting but he raises to some good comparisons with his homeland.
Boy (2010): It plays well for a while but it really doesn't have enough substance or originality to see out the distance.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Painters Painting (1973): A painting of a can of beans is a work of honesty in comparison to the abstract works displayed and discussed in this documentary.
