Licorice Pizza (2021): Well produced and the loose screenplay enables you to dip into those bits that arouse your interest from time to time.
Re-Animator (1985): The director is given his head.
Monsters (2010): The creature special effects are extremely well done and make the trip worthwhile.
August Rush (2007): The soundtrack is very good.
Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011): The in your face (male) camera work was annoying.
Slaughter Rule, The (2002): Although the characters seemed to be more excited about the proceedings than I was at least it had a screenplay that wasn't painted by the numbers and David Morse was in fine form.rn
On the Job (2013): This actioner is based on a well written and interesting screenplay.
Guyver - Dark Hero (1993): The creatures look cheap and are all the better for it.
Sirens (1994): Dated and is now a curiosity piece but it is worth a look.
Faculty, The (1999): This is just a little bit better than average for its type.
