Gimme Danger (2016): A good combination of archival footage and interviews (which are not boring).
Land of the Long White Cloud (2009): Some beautiful seascapes and pearls of wisdom – it also is not too long and doesn't overstay its welcome.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Best of the Best (1989): Follows formula which will help in its popularity.
Zookeeper's Wife, The (2017): It is well made but this kind of story line concerning undercover work in German occupied territory has been done a few times before.
Bad and the Beautiful, The (1952): Still watchable 65 years on but you really don't care what happens to any of these characters.
SoulBoy (2010): The early scenes are the best before it loses its way at times. The set designs for the period are commendable.
Inbetweeners, The (TV Series) (2008): Series 2: The creation of the characters hints at some intelligence in the writers so it is a shame they don't back it up in the script and screenplay.
Take the Lead (2006): It is very easily sidetracked from the dancing to a weak screenplay.
Man on Fire (2004): Up to the kidnapping its fine & then follows slow motion action shots and flashy editing/camera work and flashy flash backs – all indicators of a screenplay in trouble.
Brokeback Mountain (2005): Wyoming is beautiful but the rest of it drags. The male characters are just not interesting enough over two hours.
