Get Him to the Greek (2010): The appeal of the two males wears off after a few seconds. You feel for Elisabeth Moss but I suppose she has to earn a living.
Lord of the Flies (1990): It would be expected that one kid would have a screeching voice but here the whole lot do.
Losers, The (2010): Routine and I soon lost interest.
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017): It is basically an action film with apes standing in for humans. Much too long.
Cocktail (1988): A weak screenplay is made even worse by Cruise's performance.
Water Horse, The: Legend of the Deep (2007): Nessie is very impressive and a credit to the special effects team.
Glass: A Portrait Of Philip In Twelve Parts (2007): Some parts more interesting than others, but well worth it overall.
Resident Evil - Extinction (2007): Noisy but watchable and not too long which always helps.
Contender, The (2000): Joan Allen is surrounded by some capable male acting talent and she more than holds her own – as does her character. Go Girl!
Grosse Pointe Blank (1997): Screenplays similar to this have been done better elsewhere but this is worth watching for the support casting of Joan Cusack, Dan Aykroyd and Alan Arkin.
