Taken (2008): There are a number of films where parents go searching for a missing daughter. Thanks to Neeson this is one of the better ones.
Aeon Flux (2005): There are some passable futuristic elements scattered among the machine gun fire.
Bad Boys (1995): Any attraction the duo might have had soon wears off. The incessant chatter doesn't help.
Biscuit Eater, The (1972): Okay except for the fact that young kids are handling firearms and are involved in a blood sport.
We Were Soldiers (2002): It takes a while to get out of the bedroom and to war but the battle scenes (war) are well done.
Undercover Blues (1993): Hard to dislike.
Kramer vs. Kramer (1979): A well acted talkie.
A Monster Calls (2016): The tree is excellent and is backed up by some good special effects. Unfortunately, the kid gets over screechy but the screenplay is worth the time.
Red Dawn (1984): One of the top comedies of 1984.rn
Swingers (1996): Has dated after 20 years but it still has some appeal.
