4 stars (Very Good) We Were Soldiers is by no means a classic anti-war film, but it does have an emotional and gripping plot, and it remains respectful and mostly 'realistic' in its portrayal of the Vietnam war. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) It takes a while to get out of the bedroom and to war but the battle scenes (war) are well done. ~Tubbs
