Evil of Frankenstein, The (1964): These Hammer productions rarely overstay their welcome. The reliable Peter Cushing is the master of ceremonies. The set designs, as usual, are fitting to the cause and well done.
Twins of Evil (1971): It has a very good plot with the ever–reliable Peter Cushing heading the cast.
Da Vinci Code, The (2006): Miles too long – a typical Howard/Hanks project – it would have been quicker to read the book.
Young and Innocent (1937): Seen as "The Girl Was Young". It is standing the test of time 80 years on with a serviceable screenplay and a couple of very good scenes.
Geostorm (2017): Follows the major disaster drama formula.
Zombieland (2009): It pales against "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) – both in screenplay and casting – but it is worth a watch.
Lymelife (2008): The ingredients were there but ultimately it failed to deliver.; Blu-Ray $29.95
People Will Talk (1951): The screenplay is a bit of a mix of comedy and drama – it is competently made and has some added value with the casting of Finlay Currie and Hume Cronyn in supporting roles.
Five Fingers (5 Fingers) (1952): Still watchable 65 years on – competently made and performed.
Easy Virtue (2008): It oozes production values and is easy on the eye. Kristin and Colin Firth are two of the more consistent performers around and head a competent supporting cast.
