Butler, The (2013): The historical events within the screenplay have been thrashed to death but the production values are very good and the make–up people deserve a mention for their ageing of Whittaker.
Robocop 2 (1990): Another sequel that is a mistake. It is distasteful at times.
Odyssey, The (L'odyssée) (2016): A commercial offering. A documentary that included archival footage would have done the trick rather than a drama.; DVD $29.95
Jurassic Park 3 (2001): A not as good as its predecessors contribution.
Purple Rain (1984): The musical segments are fine and are worth waiting for once the romantic and dramatic padding is out of the way.
Ingrid Goes West (2017): The males were just annoying in particular O'Shea Jackson Jr.
Annabelle: Creation (2017): It uses the lack of lighting and sound effects well and the set designs are good. It is better than most of the many others of its type.
Downsizing (2017): It is a very good plot idea that could have been better portrayed. Damon looks suitably confused throughout.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017): I had to turn the volume down because of the yelling, screaming, and hysterics of the characters but visually it looked okay.
House, The (2017): It shows up the dearth of good comedy writers.
