Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992)
Captivating performances from Sheryl Lee & Ray Wise. Its a David Lynch film – you don't know what's going to happen next or what's around the corner. Some wonderfully bizarre moments pop up when least expected as if to throw you off the scent.
Eraserhead (1977)
Experienced Lynch watchers won't be too worried about not being able to follow the screenplay. He is a director with a true artistic imagination & makes the best of a very small budget. Not a mood uplifter but a very satisfying experience.
I Feel Pretty (2018)
Michelle Williams is underused but although the screenplay is not great Amy Schumer gives it some appeal.
Honeymooners, The (2003)
It is okay but forgettable.
Tanna (2015)
A simple story that depicts some of the problems societies have when run solely by males. The two girls, the photography and the volcano are terrific.
An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn (2018)
It tries hard but black comedies are very hard to do and are sometimes anything but funny.
Trumpet of the Swan, The (2000)
The characters are delightful and should be good family viewing.
Man with the Gun (1955)
Solid and unspectacular.
Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl, The (2005)
Lautner is a bit annoying but it is entertaining enough otherwise.
War, A (Krigen) (2016)
The conflict scenes and the courtroom scenes have all been done before but it portrays them competently and without commercial fanfare.
