River's Edge (1986): The screenplay has a refreshingly different angle.rn
Field of Dreams (1989): The screenplay is based on fresh material and has an excellent supporting cast.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Kalifornia (1993): The first half is fine if not original but the screenplay weakens out. However Juliette Lewis is terrific throughout.
Friends and Family (2001): Okay – an undemanding watch.
Mighty Aphrodite (1995): The Director/Writer ends up in bed with Helena – say no more.
Paisa (1946): 80 years on, and the screenplay is still of interest. The location shooting will be of historical value.
Good Guy, The (2009): Not sure who the title referred to.
Prince and Me, The (2004): I used to know a Prince, I can't recall his first name, though.
Becoming Led Zeppelin (2025): A star for each.; DVD $29.95
Beat (2000): Beaten until it was as flat as a pancake.
