Sinister (2012)
As much as I don't like Ethan Hawke, Sinister was a genuinely scary horror film which is surprisingly hard to come by these days. Horror fans will love the way it delivers on the genre with some inventive artistic flourish.
Woman in Black, The (2012)
- Not the best ghost story ever made, but it is one of the purest and most effective to hit cinemas in quite a long time. That in itself makes this a film worth cherishing, goose bumps and all.
Black Sheep (2006)- Enjoyable, frequently hilarious horror comedy. Although it's stronger on laughs and gloopy gore effects than it is on actual scares, Black Sheep is witty enough to please horror fans in search of an entertaining splatter flick.
Under the Skin (2013)
This is an intelligent and classy film that shows just how good an actress Johansson can be when given the chance.
Moulin Rouge (2001)- You'll be singing your heart out to elephant love medley before you know it. A truly great musical and a glorious film for all Luhrmann lovers.
Hour, The - Series 1 (TV Series) (2011)- A remarkable television series, surprisingly not very well known. Well worth the watch.
Bridge, The - Series 1 (TV Series) (Bron/Broen) (2011)- Brilliant television series, got me hooked just by listening to the first opening sequence. I love the very subtle humorous take on Saga Norén's character. Sofia Helin makes it all the more enjoyable.

Smithereens (1982)- This movie seems directionless at first, but it does an exceptional job at drawing you into the characters' lives and making you care about them.
What We Do in the Shadows (2014)
I fear the american audience won't get the kiwi humour present in this frightfully funny horror–comedy. Being a Wellingtonian made it all the more enjoyable to watch.- Blu-Ray $19.95
Babadook, The (2014)- It's incredibly chilling, but the horror doesn't take away from the raw emotion of a mother struggling against herself.
