Capharnaum (2018): 2.5/5 – Yes there is also illegal immigration out of Europe/USA, with it's cortege of misery and immigration smugglers. While religion is kept out, the socio–cultural differences are a shock. Tenderness makes a good balance; DVD $29.95
A Touch of Sin (2013): 3/5 – Original title: Tian zhu ding (Destiny). – Interesting peek on modern China life – Pessimistic with some hope, but definitively not the Party's propaganda book, which makes it valuable to see.
Downfall (Der Untergang) (2004): 3/5 – Original title: "Der Untergang" – Very well done movie, good casting with Ganz on the top. Instructive.; DVD ~~$25~~ $18.75
Nobody (2021): 3/5 – a bit overdone but fun to watch.
Insomnia (2002): 3/5 – Fair remake of the Scandinavian Insomnia (1997) for American spectators. Pacino and Swank excellent as usual.
Gasland (2010): 4/5 – Moving and revolting at the same time. Good Doco.
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018): 3/5 – if you have lived those times...; DVD $19.95 | Blu-Ray ~~$25~~ $18.75
Toni Erdmann (2016): 3/5 – Fun to see
Blue Valentine (2010): 3/5 – This love relationship felt very real thanks to the excellent acting of the 2 main characters.
Dry, The (2020): 3/5 – With Australian accent but with English subtitles :) – Murder mystery entertaining to watch. Nice Aussie outback atmosphere and good acting.
