Color Out of Space (Colour Out of Space) (2019)
It had a good story and some good work went into the design of the film but the whole project turned into a circus by the lead actor going on an ego trip.
Graduation (Bacalaureat) (2016)
It should have been able to tell the story in less time or have the screenplay achieve more than it did.
Untamed, The (La región salvaje) (2016)
The minimum number of characters are used to good effect. The screenplay is a good mix of light horror, sci–fi, and, by not using noisy sound effects, eerie suspense.
Tracking Edith (2016)
Considering the documentarian did not have access to Russian archives he does a good job with her espionage activities. Unfortunately, her photography takes second place in this story but her brilliance, from the photos we do see, is apparent.
Bob Roberts (1992)
I think one thing the film does get right is the incessant noise of people in US politics – supporters, media et.al. No time for thinking. The songs are untuneful deliberately I would say. As a satire it will not date.
Hush (1998)
The screenplay isn't convincing but Jessica Lange is.
Innerspace (1987)
Personally, I always found Quaid hard to swallow, and although the film has a good comedic idea two hours is too much to digest. - DVD
$20 $15
Fisherman's Friends (2019)
The shanties are excellent but the screenplay in between is only padding or in this instance light ballast.
Sonic The Hedgehog (2020)
Quicker(?) Maybe but I'm still a Road Runner fan – Beep Beep.
Jungle Book, The (1968)
Some great characters with the elephant segments the highlight. A family classic.
