Bob Roberts
Aroview: Bob Dylan meets Ronald Reagan in this 'Spinal Tap' of politics. Robbins stars in this own scathing send up of the U.S. political system and especially its right-wing proponents. Heartily recommended, unless you're a Republican, although even they might enjoy the songs.

4 stars (Very Good) Preachy but prescient fun. Tim Robbins sings the songs, but the last word goes to Woody Guthrie. ~Shorty
3 stars (Good Enough) I think one thing the film does get right is the incessant noise of people in US politics - supporters, media et.al. No time for thinking. The songs are untuneful deliberately I would say. As a satire it will not date. ~Tubbs
