Rainbow, The (1989): The production details for the period are superb. Young Sammi does a good job leading a fine cast, which includes a domineering Jim Carter and a strangely subdued, and therefore wasted Glenda Jackson.; DVD ~~$25~~ $18.75
One of Our Aircraft is Missing (1942): The early cockpit scenes are well enacted, but what follows is dated and not believable.
To Die in San Hilario (2005): It doesn't take itself seriously and is all the better for it.
Motorway (2012): No surprises in what passes for a screenplay. It has the usual good stunt driving and camera work.

Purely Belter (2001): The first half of the screenplay is the strongest, but the characters are believable throughout.
Take a Letter Mr. Jones (TV Series) (1981): The episodes are of a consistent quality.

Fast Show, The (TV Series) (1997-1999): SI: It has created some decent characters.
