Boston Strangler, The
Aroview: Undeniably fascinating but somewhat static docudrama about placid 1960s serial-killer Albert De Salvo (Tony Curtis), who underwent schizophrenic killing-fits.
Best sequences involve some nifty merging of fantasy and reality as cop Henry Fonda unravels De Salvo's mind.

3 stars (Good Enough) The pacing is unhurried, but that suits Fonda's style. Kennedy is threatening as usual, even though he is one of the good guys. The screenplay has an interesting format and is enhanced by some good city location shooting. ~Tubbs
