A scorching debut from the Coens, full of colourful characters, suspenseful mystery and sinister humour.

A bona–fide classic. Incredibley intense and rewarding with a sublime James Stewart and an enchanting Grace Kelly.
A History of Violence (2005)
The atmosphere throughtout the film and a couple of scenes in paticular seem a little off, but a brilliant lead performance from Mortensen and great supporting turns from Harris and Hurt make up for it in spades.
