5 stars (Exceptional) Great documentary on blues origins. Scorcese focuses on Son House, Muddy Waters & Hooker; plus Robert Johnson, Otha Turner & their African roots. Old-style blues of Mississippi small-holders differed from Delta cotton-field blues, which migrated north. ~Sandy
