Aroview: A popcorn thriller that breathes white-knuckle life into road movies well travelled - a practical joke involving CB radios has sinister repercussions for two brothers travelling the American byways en route to a girl one is trying to impress.

Tightly steered by genre specialist dir. John Dahl, and driven by credible performances from a fresh-faced cast (especially the gleefully impetuous Steve Zahn), it perhaps guzzles its gas too soon, as the plot inevitably overheats and finally heads into a tailspin.

2 stars (Good Try) Perhaps more commonly known as Joy Ride, this takes the roadie premise and scary trucker nemesis we've seen before, making for a suspenseful, if fairly standard outing. ~Tom H
