Marchlands (TV Series) (2011): While the resolution fell flat for me, the time periods were atmospheric and the relationships well developed. Jodie and Alex amazing as always.
Venus (2006): The same kind of uncomfortable realness that you get with Quills. A film of errors, knowing yourself, inviting yourself in to your own life and others'. Really enjoyed it and seeing Jodie smash it in her first film.
Attack the Block (2011): I enjoyed my journey getting to know the delinquents of the block. I was surprised at the social commentary, and how few punches this movie pulled. I think there's something nice about a film using local talent and attempting authenticity.
Wired (TV Mini-series) (2008): You can often find that writing or acting lends itself towards an ideal – ignore the grey both in the situation and response. This show swims in it, and Jodie Whittaker's performance was spot on for me. Highly recommend.
