2 stars (Good Try) Was expecting much more from a new Charlie Kaufman film, but this was surprisingly unsatisfying. A beautiful performance from Jennifer Jason Leigh as "Lisa", and the animation is very impressive – but somehow it's not enough.

5 stars (Exceptional) From Chaplin's "Modern Times", to Star Wars and the music video for Queen's "Radio Ga Ga", the huge influence of this film is felt to this day. With stunning visual effects incorporating miniatures, paintings and mirrors, it is a wonder to behold.
