College (1927): Keaton's agility and timing on display.
Masters of the Universe (1987): There is an enjoyable cheapness about it.
Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005): You would hope that the corporate and financial sectors would learn from Enron(?).
Grizzly Man (2005): We could have done with less of Grizzly Man but the wildlife photography was pretty good.
Heaven's Gate (1980): The screenplay does have its quieter moments but the photography and the action sequences are excellent. John Hurt is a standout in the early scenes but appears very little afterward.
Marty (1955): Romance screenwriters – see how it is done – no need for bedroom scenes or even kissing plus a finish within 90.
Death at a Funeral (2010): A terrific comedy plot idea but the comedy is forced and the production plays more like a sequel.
A Cure for Wellness (2016): A bit elongated but there some decent set designs and suspenseful segments.
Everyday People (2004): The characters are believable which certainly helps.
War Games (1983): A well written screenplay with a touch of comedy and plenty of satire.
