Miles Davis Story, The (2001): Very informative through a good selection of interviewees and archival film.
Past Lives (2023): It is a relaxing watch. Thankfully the three main characters are not annoying.
Story of Ricky (Riki-Oh aka Lai Wong) (1991): The violence soon gets repetitive.
Joe Strummer - The Future is Unwritten (2007): A very well produced documentary with adequate time being devoted to both Strummer and to the band. It contains plenty of interviews and archival film.
Living (2022): Have you ever wondered what a London office in the 1950s looked like? Maybe not.
An Angel at My Table (1990): There is a smooth performance transition between the three Janet's. Alexia Keogh has my soft spot & the early scenes are the best. Kerry shows her range in coping with the bulk of the screenplay which has its odd lull in particular the Spanish segment.
Beauty Remains (Mei ren yi jiu) (2005): It has a very familiar screenplay.
Curious George (2006): The Jack Johnson soundtrack certainly helped.
Brighton Rock (2010): Although the screenplay gradually falls away there is some fine location shooting and splendid performances from Andrea Riseborough with great support from veterans Helen Mirren, John Hurt, and Phil Davis.; DVD $19.95, $34.95 | Blu-Ray $19.95
A Thousand Times Goodnight (2013): The quality of Juliette makes it watchable.
