Black Balloon, The (2008): Handled very well. Toni Collette as usual is terrific.
All the Real Girls (2003): Better than most yuppies looking to fill in the day feeling sorry for themselves films.

Zozo (2005): Effective way of portraying the tragedy of Lebanon. Complemented by unobtrusive soundtrack.
Last Starfighter, The (1984): Light.
Adrift in Manhattan (2007): A restrained American talkie.
Prometheus (2012): The special effects overwhelm the characters – never seen Charlize with so little to do – other than use a flame thrower.
Evil Dead, The (1981): Enjoy.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001): A tour De force from Alan Rickman with Maggie Smith and Richard Griffiths the icing on the cake.The kids are good thank god.
Curse of the Fly (1965): Solid black and white and British.
