Tommy Boy (1995): Farley is better than most at this type of humour.
Cinderfella (1960): Watch the solo Lewis sketches – he hasn\'t been able to be copied – Jim Carrey has tried and failed.
Of Gods and Men (2010): Takes its time and doesn\'t ram a religious message down your throat.
Compliance (2012): Lacks credibility but the acting by the two female leads is good.
New Statesman, The (TV Series) (1987-1991): Series 1 & 2 & special: Much of the political satire is still relevant today – the Tory twits are still with us.
This Happy Breed (1944): Easy on the eye cinematography from Ronald Neame.
O.H.M.S (You're in the Army Now) (1937): First half of the film with British locations the better – good turn from Wallace Ford.
Le Samourai (The Samurai) (1967): Minimal dialogue – other Directors please take note. The colours used by the cinematographer are easy on the eye.
Café de Flore (2011): A moving story – excellent acting.; DVD $14.95
Last Days Here (2011): Doco. doesn\'t include a great deal of music – more a grueling bio. of Bobby Liebling.
