To Wong Foo...Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1996): The single joke scenario is difficult to maintain for any length of time.
Willow (1988): The creatures were fine and there was plenty of killing which should keep the kids happy.; DVD ~~$15~~ $11.25
Dominick and Eugene (1988): Bittersweet without too much cloyingness. The casting helped.
Devil Dared Me To, The (2007): An action packed 75 minutes got better as it went along or more likely I got up to speed.
Edward II (1991): As expected, a little different. Although not all segments appealed, the creativity, and originality, deserve to be recognised. Tilda Swinton is a compulsory casting in this kind of thing.
Norma Rae (1979): The scenes in the textile mill were well produced and the industrial relations situation believable enough to warrant Sally sticking it up 'em.
Brute Force (1947): I thought the climax strained belief a bit but for the rest it was well made with Hume Cronyn convincing.
You Only Live Once (1937): Always hard to see this combination of director and casting failing and it doesn't.; Blu-Ray $39.95
Body and Soul (1947): Very competent in all departments especially the fight scenes.
Waiting Room, The (2007): A decent screenplay and worth a look.
