Australia (2008)
The first hour and a half are worth it – the Outback is a winner – the usual great Aussie character actors in support.
Candy Snatchers, The (1973)
Genuine suspense at times – the kid is great.
Bored to Death (TV Series) (2009)
Season 1 – funny in an american kind of way. At least the characters don\'t irritate.
I Give It a Year (2013)
Should have done better with this cast. Infantile script and the characters aren\'t much better.
Green Street Hooligans (2005)
Mr lightweight Wood is convincing as a wimp in the early stages of the film. The casting of the rest of the hooligans is spot on particularly the Millwall mob.The stouches are now over familiar.Hollywood ending.
Killshot (2008)
Diane Lane is good and J G–L gives a comical performance. Rourke looks like he\'s just emerged from a plastic factory.
McLintock! (1963)
Another macho bullying character/performance from Wayne.
Sorcerers, The (1967)
Excellent nostalgic opening scene. Boris\'s wife (Catherine Lacey) is really sinister.
Don't Knock the Rock (1956)
The padded bits in between the musical numbers get longer and longer culminating in a social message.
Hell Ride (2008)
Some distasteful moments don\'t help. The characters try a bit too hard to be bad.
