Friday Night Lights (TV Series) (2006): Season 1:The film makers are always behind the 8 ball by trying to make american football interesting.They try to make the characters interesting through use of close up shots.
Total Recall (1990): Some bizarre moments.The effects are pretty good but little attempt seems to have been made to futurise the clothing.Good to see that cellphones haven\'t survived to 2084.
Invasion U.S.A. (1952): Has a place in the Cult genre.
Monstrosity (The Atomic Brain) (1964): These kind of cult films have an appeal all of their own. Outlandish plot and poor acting – so what.
Master, The (2012): Another impressive performance from Phoenix. Unfortunately Amy Adams and Laura Dern don\'t get much of a look in.; DVD ~~$25~~ $18.75
Germany Year Zero (1947): An important historical document. The street scenes are unforgettable.
How to Steal a Million (1966): The leads are okay but the main interest for me are the supporting cast especially Wallach and Griffith. The plot does not justify the length.
Cromwell (1970): A few dead bits but worth attention for the quality cast.
40 Pounds of Trouble (Forty Pounds of Trouble) (1962): The 6 year old is not too bad.Good to see Phil Silvers.
First of the Few (Spitfire) (1942): Solid.
