Frances Ha (2012): Showed flashes of promise but didn't hold the attention.
Gumball Rally (1976): Some good urban street location shots early on – thereafter for petrol heads.
Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013): Like the Twilight series the characters are boring. The creatures are fine.
Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961): Shallow characters talk their way through the best part of two hours. Rooney is ridiculous and his character racist. Memorable song.; DVD ~~$19.95~~ $14.95
Stoker (2013): Impressive performance from Mia W. The plot would have been even better with a couple of less bodies.
Butter (2011): The support cast are best especially Yara Shahidi and Rob Corrdry. Little originality in the plot but its watchable.
Poseidon Adventure, The (1972): Ignore the stellar cast and so so script but admire the special effects and set design. Memorable theme song.
Scrooged (1988): Not too bad but this story has been thrashed to death.
Bangkok Dangerous (2008): It threatened to take off at times.
Leave Her to Heaven (1946): As with most romances it doesn't go anywhere.Minor interest in Vincent Price role.
