Young Master, The (Shi di chu ma) (1980): Good fight moves and some funny Jackie Chan type moments.
Dragon's World - A Fantasy Made Real (2004): Excellent way to tell a story. Good visual effects.
Bruce Almighty (2003): Carrey turns my stomach but it was a reasonable plot if not entirely original.
Remember Me (2010): I find Pattinson hard to look at – I wish he'd find another occupation. Chris Cooper and Lena Olin are worth a watch as usual.
Ladder 49 (2004): A male film. A podgy Joaquin is fine as the lead.
Edgeplay - A Film about The Runaways (2004): Not as young as they were girls reminisce.Fans of the girls might find them interesting.
Weapons (2007): If they could have got rid of the hand held camera may have rated it a bit better. Director Larry Clark much better on American youth.
Resident Evil (2002): The sci–fi element (the intelligent aspect) is swamped by the action, walking dead but above all the noise.
Killing, The - Series 1 (TV Series) (Forbrydelsen) (2007): Excellent start but then the writers included so many red herrings in the plot that I took it as an insult – the writers didn't want it to finish – reminds me of a soap.However some good miserable and bleak location shots and excellent theme music.
Outsourced (2006): Harmless and watchable – topical subject matter – but they couldn't resist including an unnecessary romantic element.
