Tarzan the Ape Man (1981): Its that bad it deserves two stars.
Hyde Park on Hudson (2012): Excellent props. The casting of Linney is spot on.Excellent performances from Olivia Williams and Samuel West.; DVD $14.95
Blue Jasmine (2013): One that is not from the production line – characters move in this one. Good casting of Hawkins and Blanchett.
Jeffrey (1995): A little restraint would have helped the comedy.Classy support from Sigourney and Patrick Stewart.
Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001): Cage and Bale struggle with their accents.John Hurt and David Morrissey take care of the acting requirements.Didn't really need the romance – good story without it.
Mountains of the Moon (1990): Not perfect – uneven but the story is compelling. Some great location shooting.
Armour of God (1986): Bit of a mixture but Jackie is rarely boring.
Family, The (2013): Its hard to mix comedy and violence and be successful.
Enough (2002): Not original but some watchable performances. Juliette Lewis adds interest.
After the Sunset (2004): Glossy characters, glossy locations, glossy lifestyle.Wears thin after 10 minutes.
