Private's Progress (1956): Great casting, not just Ian Carmichael in the lead, but Terry Thomas heading an excellent supporting cast.
Tiger's Tail, The (2006): An interesting concept but it could have been portrayed a little better. A more than useful Irish cast though.
Magdalene Sisters, The (2002): When first released the film would have had more shock value than it does 20 years on when stories of institutional abuse have become more common place.; Poster (VG) $14.95

Big Fish (2003): A series of well told tales assisted by some good casting. The Buscemi segment, the best.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Grampire (Moonrise) (1991): The distinctive Al Lewis is the only real interest. The screeching of the kids is hard work.
Ed and His Dead Mother (1992): A black comedy that works. Buscemi and Margolyes are terrific.
Live Free or Die (2006): Relies on bad language rather than a script.
