Love Eternal (2013): What could have been a tricky subject is handled in a low key and decent manner.
Crossing Over (2009): Although it is hard to tell at times from the untidy screenplay it may have been made with good intentions toward the immigrants.
Up 'n' Under (1998): It doesn't stray too far from formula but it is enjoyable thanks in no small part to some character actors given their place in the sun.
Los Angeles Plays Itself (2003): Impressive film library research with background historical information is translated into coherent storytelling.
Special Relationship, The (2010): The writing is pretty good and the screenplay is not as dry as it could have been. Michael Sheen is very good and has found a niche in this kind of role.
Face of an Angel, The (2014): The screenplay lacked focus – it was easily sidetracked.
Bio-Dome (1996): Commendably the plot idea is fresh which is more than can be said for the unnecessary farting. Hard to dislike all the same.
I Am David (2003): It highlighted probably a forgotten part of postwar history.
Carrie 2: The Rage (1999): Okay, but it is nothing to get excited over.
Love and Death (1975): Quite well done.
